And it really is – I am always asked for photos and information about the towns and villages properties are in – as most French estate agents do not even tell you where a property is until you sign a paper guaranteeing their commission, showing local photos is just not done – until now.
I never ask for a “bon de visite” although if I am introducing property through another agent then they are likely to ask for this – but I have found a way to show local photos of towns.
Have a look at Some Recent Photos this is from my own page on Panoramio and there are a few snaps there of places from my files – the point is that the use they make of Google maps means you can go to their site and if anyone – me, you anyone – have loaded local photos you can browse them. If you visit, then you can put photos on which you take yourself.
I will make a point of taking local stuff and loading it onto the maps and give a link – not only the photos I have presented will show in the maps- you can see everything people have taken from the links on the map, or search from the site and get the opinions and viewpoint of other photographers.
