Saints Alive

The round grounding of a Pic Saint Loup and the meandering creaminess of St Felicien Cheese – both from our part of France – made a great supper.

In our village mini-market I saw a Coteaux de Languedoc, Pic Saint Loup 2003 from a local small producer for 5 euro and a St Felicien round of cheese for 2 euro for this evenings cheese and wine test.

Great stuff – both are strong and fiesty, but both are also kind gentle souls – no wonder they are names after saints
