I send out a newsletter, whenever I can, at www.Nizas.com and I write on this blog and on my other blog at wwww.Twiku.com . I do it because I enjoy doing it and because I get, literally, hundreds of letters and messages every month asking for information about property and rentals in France.
I try to reply to all and often will share these with others if I think the information is useful, interesting or just plain funny.
I do not publish or dwell on stuff which I personally do not like and keep all my pages as “family friendly” possible.
No one is obliged to read my newsletters, I am very careful only to send out emails to people who have opted in and confirmed this at least once. I send out tens of thousands of email newsletters each month in this way.
Every day some people subscribe and some unsubscribe, I am happy to see new names appear and sad to lose old readers, but overall my readers are growing and I try to give a useful service.
I cover my costs by the advertising on the information pages and some months even make a profit enough for a good meal – it is not the way I make my living.
So when someone takes the time to write to me and say they like or do not like what I say, I am very interested in their opinion and try to learn.
But – what can I learn from this comment I got today…

To be honest I feel sorry for this person and that they needed to take time to write to me in this manner – they had been receiving my newsletters for over two years, originally requesting them in July 2005 – so why did they bother to write now?
It takes one to know one !
